Arrows Win series 4-2
For the fourth year in a row the Arrows Express were crowned Ontario and
Eastern Canadian Jr A Lacrosse champions. The Arrows Express earned their fourth
straight trip to the Minto Cup championship with a thrilling come from behind victory in Orangeville on
Monday night. Cody Jamieson scored the series clinching goal with just 3/10s of a second left on the clock as the Arrows
rallied from 4 goals down to win the game 5 - 4.
The goal was his third of the night and at the conclusion of the game Cody was awarded the Dean McLeod trophy as the
MVP of the Ontario Jr A lacrosse championship series. Commissioner Dean McLeod was on hand to make the
presentations after the game including awarding the Arrows Express the Iroquois Trophy emblematic of winning the
Ontario Jr A lacrosse title.
The Northmen played a very inspired game and led all the way in the game until the dying seconds when Cody scored the
game winner. The score was 3 - 0 Northmen after the first period and they extended their lead to 4 - 0 early in the second
period. Cody Jamieson was finally able to get one by Northmen goalie Nick Rose at about the fifteen minute mark of the
second period and then team captain Sid Smith score an unassisted goal just 10 seconds later to cut Orangeville's lead in
half as the Northmen led 4 - 2 after two periods.
Being cheered on by a large contingent of their fans who made the trip to Orangeville, the Arrows Express fought back in
the third period as Cody Jamieson got his 2nd goal of the game at the 6:30 mark and then Kent Squire-Hill tied the game
just 35 seconds later with a great individual effort. The game remained tied for the remaining 12 minutes. The Arrows
Express got control of the ball with 14 seconds remaining and pulled goalie Ben VanEvery in favour of an extra attacker.
Using a set play Cody scored his dramatic game winning goal with less than a second remaining on the clock.
Arrows Express points were scored by Cody Jamieson with 3 goals, Kent Squire-Hill had 1 goal & 2 assists and Sid Smith
scored a single goal. Assists were earned by Ben VanEvery, Holden Vyse, Craig Point and Danny Hill.
The Arrows Express will now advance to the Minto Cup being hosted by the Salmonbellies in New Westminster, BC. The
other teams who earned their way to the 2007 Minto Cup include 12 time BC champs the Burnaby Lakers and the
Edmonton Miners.
The Arrows Express play their first game against the New Westminster Salmonbellies on Saturday August 25. Their
second game sees them take on the Edmonton Miners on Monday August 27 and they conclude the round robin by taking
on the Burnaby Lakers on Tuesday August 28. The semi final game featuring 2nd place vs 3rd place from the round robin
takes place on the Thursday August 30 with the winner advancing to take on the 1st place finisher in the round robin in the
Minto Cup championship game set for Saturday September 1

Arrows lead series 3-2
With the series tied at 2 games apiece, pivotal Game 5 was played at the ILA on
Saturday night with the winner having the opportunity to clinch the Ontario Jr A
championship in Orangeville on Monday night. After a hard fought 1st period that ended tied 1 - 1
the Arrows Express finally got their offense in gear and took a 4 - 2 lead after two periods before scoring 5 unanswered
goals in the 3rd for a 9 - 2 victory.
Shawn Evans led the offensive charge with 4 goals & 3 assists for a 7 point night and Ben VanEvery was spectacular in
goal allowing only 2 goals. The defense led by Sid Smith played solidly in front of Ben all night.
Game 6 in the series will be played back in Orangeville on Monday night at 8 PM and with a victory the Arrows Express will
clinch their fourth straight Ontario championship. A Northmen victory will force a 7th and deciding game back in the ILA on
Tuesday night at 8 PM.
Other Arrows Express points were scored by Craig Point with 2 goals & 2 assists, Cody Jamieson and Mitch Nanticoke had
1 goal & 1 assist apiece and Kent Squire-Hill added a single goal. Corbyn Tao, Sid Smith and Jacob Kicknosway-Loucks
had 2 assists and single assists went to Ben VanEvery and Corey Stringer.

Series tied 2-2
The Six Nations Arrows Express got off to a very poor start in Orangeville on
Thursday night as they trailed 5 - 1 after the 1st period. They never got back into
the game as the Northmen took game 4 by a score of 10 - 7 to tie the best of 7 series at 2
games apiece. Game 5 will be played back in the ILA on Saturday night at 7 PM.
The Northmen were the better team on the night as the Arrows Express never got to within two goals all night. The score
was 8 - 4 after the 2nd period and the Northmen led 10 - 5 halfway through the 3rd period. The Arrows Express scored two
late goals to make the final 10 - 7.
The Arrows Express points were scored by Craig Point with 3 goals & 1 assist, Cody Jamieson had 2 goals & 1 assist
and Mitch Nanticoke had 2 goals. Kent Squire-Hill had 4 assists, Shawn Evans had 3 assists and single assists went to
Jacob Kicknosway-Loucks and Sid Smith.
Once again Game 5 is at the ILA on Saturday night at 7 PM and Game 6 will be back in Orangeville on Monday night at 8 PM.

Arrows lead series 2-1
The Arrows Express earned a hard fought 7 - 6 victory at the ILA on Tuesday
night. With the win the Arrows Express have taken a 2 games to 1 lead in the best of
7 championship series. Shawn Evans returned to the line-up and had a big game as he scored 4
goals including what turned out to be the game winner at the 13:07 mark of the 3rd period.
Orangeville scored the first goal of the game but the Arrows Express battled back and led 4 - 2 at the end of the 1st period.
The teams exchanged one goal apiece in the 2nd period as the Arrows Express took a 5 - 3 lead into the 3rd period. The
Northmen scored to narrow the gap to one goal but Craig Point scored at the 9:22 mark to get the Arrows their two goal
lead back at 6 - 4. The scoring in the period went back on forth over the final 10 minutes as the Arrows Express held on
for the 7 - 6 victory.
Aside from Shawn Evans 4 goal night Arrows Express goals were scored by Cody Jamieson with 1 goal & 1 assist and
singles went to Kent Squire-Hill and Craig Point. Danny Hill and Corbyn Tao had 2 assists each and single assists went
to Ben VanEvery, Chris Courtney, Holden Vyse, Jacob Kicknosway-Loucks, Sid Smith and Kyle Point.
Game 4 in the series will be played at the Tony Rose Arena in Orangeville on Thursday (Aug 16) night at 8 PM and Game
5 will be played back at the ILA on Saturday night (Aug 18) at 7 PM.

Series tied 1-1
The Arrows Express traveled to Orangeville on Sunday evening to play game 2
of the Ontario final series. The Northmen had handed the Arrows Express their first loss
of the year at the ILA in game 1 but the Arrows avenged that loss with a 12 - 4 victory in game 2
on Sunday night to even the series at one game apiece.
The Arrows Express were able to capitalize on their scoring chances in this game better than in Game 1 when they fired
68 shots on net and came away with only 5 goals. Tonight Cody Jamieson and the rest of the offense found the net more
often as the Arrows Express led all the way. The score was 3 - 1 Arrows Express at the end of the first period and 7 - 2
after the second.
Ben VanEvery played an excellent game in goal holding the Northmen to only 1 goal in each of the first two periods. For
his efforts he was awarded the game ball by coach Regy Thorpe after the game. The win was a real team effort as the
defence played well in front of Ben and also got into the offense as Sid Smith had two goals and and Holden Vyse added
one.
Arrows Express scoring summary - Cody Jamieson had 3 goals & 1 assist, Sid Smith and Danny Hill had 2 goals & 1
assist, Mitch Nanticoke had 1 goal & 3 assists, Jacob Kicknosway-Loucks had 1 goal & 2 assists while Holden Vyse,

Northmen lead the series 1-0
The Six Nations Arrows Express opened up their 4th straight Ontario finals championship series with a game against
the Orangeville Northmen at the ILA on Friday night. The final series matches up the #1 seeded Arrows Express against
the #2 seeded Northmen.
When the dust had settled at the ILA on Friday night the Arrows Express suffered their first home floor defeat of the season
8 - 5 at the hands of the Northmen. With the victory Orangeville leads the best of 7 series 1 game to 0 with game 2 being
played at the Tony Rose Arena in Orangeville on Sunday evening at 7 PM.
The Northmen jumped out to a 3 - 0 lead but the Arrows Express fought back with 3 goals of their own - two coming in the
last minute to make the score tied 3 - 3 at the end of the 1st period. Kent Squire-Hill scored 2 goals in the 2nd period for the
Arrows before the Northmen fired in a late goal to make the score 5 - 4 in favour of the Arrows going into the 3rd period. The
teams were each held scoreless in the first half of the 3rd period but then the Northmen scored 4 consecutive goals with the last
one into the empty net for the 8 - 5 final.
Arrows Express points were scored by Kent Squire-Hill with 2 goals & 2 assists, Craig Point and Jacob Kicknosway-Loucks
had 1 goal and 1 assist apiece and Cody Jamieson added a single goal. Ben VanEvery and Danny Hill added single assists
to round out the points.
Game 3 will be played back at the ILA on Tuesday night (Aug 14) at 8 PM.

WHITBY WARRIORS - 8
Arrows WIN the series 4-1
The Six Nations Arrows Express have advanced to the Ontario Jr A championship
final series with a 16 - 8 win over Whitby at the ILA on Sunday night. With the win the
Arrows Express take the series 4 games to 1 and will take on Orangeville who won their series
against Brampton 4 games to 1.
Cody Jamieson scored off the opening face off won by Sid Smith just :08 seconds into the game. Then Cody and Kent
Squire-Hill scored 2 shorthanded goals 8 seconds apart giving the Arrows a 3 - 1 lead before the game was five minutes
old. Cody added 1 more goal to score a hat trick in the first period as the Arrows Express led 4 - 1 after the first period.
The Arrows Express offense continued to roll in the 2nd period as they scored 7 times including 2 powerplay goals and
Craig Point picked up 4 assists in the period as they built up an 11 - 5 lead by the end of the period. The Arrows Express
powerplay continued to click in the 3rd period with Whitby taking penalties as they connected for 4 straight powerplay
goals to start the period. Craig Point figured in on all these goals as he ended the night with 1 goal & 8 assists for a
nine point night.
Cody Jamieson ended the night with 5 goals & 2 assists and Keegan Hill connected for 3 powerplay goals and finished
the night with 4 goals & 1 assist. Arrows Express other points were scored by Kent Squire-Hill with 2 goals, Jacob
Kicknosway-Loucks and Mitch Nanticoke each had 1 goal & 3 assists, Danny Hill had 1 goal & 2 assists and Miller
Rusbridge added a single goal. Sid Smith had 2 key assists as the Arrows Express scored two early goals off his face
off wins. Single assists went to Ben VanEvery, Randy Johnson, Logan Kane and Corbyn Tao.
The Jr A awards ceremony and all star game takes place in Whitby at Iroquois Park on Thursday August 9th. The awards
ceremony which features 4 Arrows Express players being recognized takes place at 5:15 PM. Then the all star game
takes place at 8 PM.
Listen to CKRZ and CKPC and watch the local papers for the times and dates of the final series against Orangeville. It is
expected that Game 1 will be played either Friday or Saturday at the ILA.

Arrows lead the series 3-1
The Six Nations Arrows Express 2007 undefeated streak ended at 25 games in
Whitby on Friday night as they were defeated by the Warriors by a score of 13 - 9. With
the victory the Warriors staved off elimination and forced a Game 5 in this best of 7 semi final series
which will be played at the ILA on Sunday night (Aug 5) at 7 PM.
Arrows Express starting goalie Ben VanEvery was given a game misconduct for using illegal equipment at the 13:40
mark of the second period and was replaced by Joe Johnson. The Arrows were winning 7 - 4 at the point in the game but
the tide shifted and the score was tied 8 - 8 at the end of the 2nd period.
The game was a chippy affair all night and when the dust had settled there had been several fights misconduct penalties
handed out. And the Warriors outscored the Arrows Express 5 - 1 in the 3rd period for the 13 - 9 final.
Cody Jamieson led the Arrows Express offensively with 5 goals & 1 assist on the night. Other Arrows Express goals were
scored by Craig Point with 2 and single goals were added by Corey Stringer and Jason Jones. Shawn Evans had 5 assists,
Mitch Nanticoke had 3 assists on the night and Jacob Kicknosway-Loucks had 2 assists. Single assists were added by Ben
VanEvery, Logan Kane, Kent Squire-Hill, Tyler Hill and Kyle Point.

WHITBY WARRIORS - 5
Arrows lead the series 3-0
The Six Nations Arrows Express earned a hard fought 7 - 5 victory over the
Whitby Warriors at the ILA Thursday night to take a commanding 3 games to none lead
in the best of 7 semi final series. The Arrows Express will have a chance to wrap up the series
Friday night as Game 4 will be played right back in Whitby at 8 PM at Iroquois Park.
Dan Hill got the Arrows Express the early lead but the Warriors led the game 2 - 1 after the first period and 4 - 3 after the
second. Cody Jamieson scored his 3rd goal of the game 6:40 into the third period and then Craig Point scored less than
a minute later to give the Arrows a 5 - 4 lead. Whitby tied the score at 5 apeice just past the halfway mark but then Kent
Squire-Hill scored what proved to be the game winner with a long outside shot that eluded the Whitby goalie at the 14
minute mark. Craig Point scored the game clincher with just over a minute left for the 7 - 5 final.
Arrows Express scoring on the night was led by Cody Jamieson with 3 goals & 1 assist, Craig Point had 2 goals & 1
assist and Kent Squire-Hill and Danny Hill each had 1 goal & 1 assist. Shawn Evans had 3 assists, Mitch Nanticoke
added 2 assists and single assists went to Ben VanEvery, Chris Courtney, Jacob Kicknosway-Loucks and Keegan Hill.
Game 4 once again is in Whitby on Friday night at 8 PM and Game 5 (if necessary) would be played back at the ILA on
Sunday night at 7 PM.

Arrows lead the series 2-0
The Arrows Express rode a fast start to a 9 - 6 victory in Whitby Tuesday night.
The Arrows Express scored 5 quick goals before the game was 3 minutes old and
with the win they take a 2 games to none lead over the Warriors in this best of 7 semi final series.
The fast start allowed the Arrows Express to take a 7 - 3 lead after the first period. The remainder of the game was played
much closer as the Arrows lead was 8 - 4 after the second period and then Whitby closed the score to 8 - 6 in the 3rd
before Cody Jamieson scored the clincher with just over a minute left to play.
Ben VanEvery played another strong game in goal and was awarded the game ball for his efforts. Tory Gardner got his
Arrows Express team-mates fired up with a decisive victory in a fight with Ian Crashley #5 of the Warriors just :23 seconds
into the game. This sparked the Arrows Express to the quick start as they scored their first goal just 10 seconds later.
Arrows Express points were scored by Shawn Evans with 2 goals & 3 assists, Cody Jamieson had 2 goals & 2 assists,
Jason Jones scored 2 goals while Craig Point and Mitch Nanticoke had a goal and an assist each with Tyler Hill adding a
single goal. Single assists went to Ben VanEvery, Sid Smith, Miller Rusbridge and Lee Thomas.
Game 3 will be played at the ILA on Thursday night at 8 PM and Game 4 is back in Whitby on Friday night at 8 PM.

WHITBY WARRIORS - 5
Arrows lead the series 1-0
The Six Nations Arrows Express were better prepared after their hard fought
series with Burlington as they opened up their second round of the playoffs with a
convincing 13 - 5 win over Whitby at the ILA on Sunday night. Whitby who finished 4th in the regular
season had defeated last year's Minto Cup champs the Peterboro Lakers in their first round of playoffs.
Whitby did jump out to an early 2 - 0 lead but then the Arrows Express scored five straight goals as they held a 5 - 2 lead
after the first period. The team's exchanged 3 goals apiece in the 2nd period allowing the Arrows Express to take an 8 - 5
lead into the 3rd period. They then dominated the third period scoring 5 unanswered goals and shutting out the Warriors
for the 13 - 5 final.
Danny Hill who's playing rights the Arrows Express obtained back from Toronto at the trade deadline and Kent Squire-Hill
led the way with 3 goals apiece. Kent also added 2 assists for a five point night. Shawn Evans did lead the Arrows Express
offensively on the night with 2 goals & 5 assists for a 7 point game.
The Arrows Express defense played a solid game and Ben VanEvery was also solid in goal. They also had their power play
working as the Arrows Express tallied six powerplay goals on the night.
Arrows Express other point getters were Craig Point with 2 goals & 3 assists, Cody Jamieson and Jacob Kicknosway-
Loucks had 1 goal & 2 assists each and Mitch Nanticoke had 1 goal & 1 assist. Keegan Hill picked up 3 assists and Holden
Vyse had one assist on the night.
Game 2 in the best of 7 series will be played in Whitby on Tuesday July 31st at 8 PM and Game 3 will be played back at the
ILA on Thursday Aug 2nd with game time set for 8 PM.

BURLINGTON CHIEFS - 5
Arrows win the series 4-0
The Six Nations Arrows Express eliminated the Burlington Chiefs from the
play-offs with a 12 - 5 victory in Burlington on Monday night. The win gave the Arrows
Express a 4 games to 0 sweep in this quarter final series. Burlington who finished in 8th place
played the Arrows Express very tough in all four games and can take a lot of pride in the effort they displayed throughout
the series.
Craig Point followed up his 4 goal effort Sunday night in Game 3 with an even better offensive performance as he had 5
goals and 3 assists in this series clinching game. Ben VanEvery allowed 3 goals in the 1st period with the last one coming
with just over 7 minutes remaining. From there on he shut-out the Chiefs until he was replaced by Joe Johnson at 6:40 of
the 3rd period. His effort earned him the game ball from Coach Regy Thorpe after the game.
The other Arrows Express points were scored by Cody Jamieson with 2 goals & 3 assists, Kent Squire-Hill had 2 goals,
Danny Hill had 1 goal & 1 assist with Mitch Nanticoke & Keegan Hill adding single goals. Shawn Evans and Jacob
Kicknosway-Loucks had 3 assists each, Sid Smith added 2 assists and single assists went to Logan Kane and Corey Stringer.
The 2nd place Orangeville Northmen swept Akwesasne in their series. After other action on Monday July 23rd - Brampton
and St. Catharines are tied 2 - 2 in their series and Whitby leads Peterboro 3 games to 1 in their series.
Should 6th place St. Catharines upset 3rd placed Brampton then they will be the Arrows Express opponent in the semi
finals. A Brampton victory means the Arrows Express will face the winner of the Whitby - Peterboro series. With both of
these series scheduled to wrap up by Saturday it is expected that the Arrows Express will open up their semi-finals series
with Game 1 being played at the ILA on Sunday July 29th at 7 PM.

BURLINGTON CHIEFS - 4
Arrows lead the series 3-0
The Six Nations Arrows Express have taken a strangle hold 3 games to 0 lead in
the best of 7 series by defeating the Burlington Chiefs 10 - 4 at the ILA on Sunday night.
The win leaves the Arrows Express with a chance to wrap up the series Monday night when game
4 will be played at 8 PM at the Central Arena in Burlington.
The Arrows Express finally managed to pull away from the Chiefs in this game as the first two games were one and two
goal decisions. Craig Point had a big game for the Arrows Express scoring two goals in the 1st period and then adding the
final two of the game in the 3rd for a 4 goal night.
Arrows Express other points were scored by Cody Jamieson with 3 goals & 1 assist, Kent Squire-Hill had 1 goal & 3
assists, Logan Kane had 1 goal & 1 assist and Danny Hill added a single goal. Jacob Kicknosway-Loucks had 4 assists,
Shawn Evans - Lee Thomas & Corbyn Tao all had 2 assists each and single assists were added by Ben VanEvery, Holden
Vyse and Keegan Hill.
Game 5 if necessary will be played at the ILA on Wednesday July 25 at 8 PM.

The Six Nations Arrows Express are up 2 games to 0 in this best of 7 quarter
final series with a hard fought 9 - 7 victory in Burlington on Friday night. After a thrilling
come from behind victory in Game 1 the Arrows Express trailed most of the way in this game before
pulling out the victory in the 3rd period.
The game was tied 2 - 2 after the 1st period and the Chiefs built up a 6 - 3 lead before the halfway point of the 2nd period
but the Arrows Express fought back to only trail 6 - 5 going into the third period. The Arrows Express defence played an
excellent 3rd period shutting down Burlington and the "Big 3" scorers came to life as Shawn Evans had 2 goals and Cody
Jamieson and Craig Point had 1 each to clinch the 9 - 7 victory.
Arrows Express points were scored by Shawn Evans with 3 goals & 2 assists, Cody Jamieson had 3 goals, Craig Point
had 2 goals & 1 assist and Kent Squire-Hill had 1 goal & 1 assist. Logan Kane and Lee Thomas had 2 assists each and

Arrows lead the series 1-0
The Six Nations Arrows Express took game 1 of this quarter final series with a
thrilling 10 - 9 come from behind victory at the ILA on Tuesday night. Burlington was
making their first post season appearance since 1999 and almost pulled off one of the biggest upsets
of the year before falling to the Arrows Express in the dying seconds.
The Chiefs led all the way up to the final seconds in this game carrying a 3 - 2 at the end of the 1st period and they took a
commanding 6 - 3 lead into the third period. Burlington scored 3 straight goals by the 3 minute mark of the 3rd period to
build up a 9 - 3 lead. The large home crowd was urging the Arrows on and they responded in a big way.
A goal :40 seconds after the 9th Chiefs tally was scored by defensive specialist Lucas Miller assisted by Tory Gardner.
The Arrows Express top offensive line then got on track as Cody Jamieson scored 2 goals and then Shawn Evans added
one to make the score 9 - 7 with just under six minutes remaining. The Chiefs called a time-out to try and stem the tide
but it didn't work as Jacob Kicknosway-Loucks pulled the Arrows Express to within one scoring in 28 seconds off the next
face-off.
The Arrows Express would not be denied as Craig Point scored on a one timer from Cody Jamieson to make the score 9
- 9 with just over 2 minutes to play. The Arrows Express got possession of the ball and called a time out with 20 seconds
remaining on the clock. They pulled goalie Ben VanEvery in favour of an extra attacker and Cody Jamieson scored the
winning goal with just 2.4 seconds remaining.

The Six Nations Arrows Express completed their first undefeated regular
season in franchise history with a 9 - 7 victory over the Whitby Warriors at the
ILA on Sunday night. The win gave the Arrows a record of 17 wins and 1 tie in 18 games
as they ened up in 1st place with 35 points.
Shawn Evans had 3 goals & 1 assist on the night giving him 108 points on the year as he wins the Jr A regular season
scoring championship for the second year in a row. The Arrows Express Cody Jamieson was given a special plaque
before the game recognizing him being selected the National Junior College Male Student Athlete of the Year in the US.
Cody went then went out and scored the first goal of the game for the Arrows to finish the year with 76 points as he
finished the year second in scoring to team-mate Shawn Evans.
The Arrows Express will take on the 8th place Burlington Chiefs in the first round of the play-offs with game 1 in the best
of 7 series being played at the ILA on Tuesday night at 8 PM.
Other Arrows Express points were scored by Kent Squire-Hill with 2 goals & 2 assists, Keegan Hill had 2 goals and a
single goal was added by Holden Vyse. Corey Stringer had 3 assists and single assists were added by Logan Kane, Craig

The Six Nations Arrows Express travelled to Toronto to take on the
Beaches at the Ted Reeves Arena on Monday night. Led by Cody Jamieson,
who earlier in the day had been named winner of the 2006-07 David Rowlands award
as the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) male athlete of the year across all sports
disciplines in the USA, the Arrows kept their undefeated season intact with a come from behind 18 - 11 victory. Cody
showed his award (for his lacrosse accomplishments at Onondaga Community College) was no fluke as he scored 5
goals & 5 assists on the night and was presented with the game ball by coach Regy Thorpe at the conclusion of the game.
The win extends the Arrows Express record to 16 wins and 1 tie with no losses on the season with one game remaining in
the 2007 regular schedule. The team was not sharp tonight in the early going as they scored the first 2 goals of the game but
then allowed Toronto too many good scoring chances which they capitalized on as Beaches led 7 - 6 after the first period.
Beaches extended their lead to 11 - 8 with 5 minutes left in the 2nd period but then the Arrows Express reeled off 4 straight
goals in the dying minutes with the first two coming on the powerplay and last two coming shorthanded allowing them
to take a 12 - 11 lead into the third period before shutting out Beaches in the 3rd for the 18 - 11 final.
Shawn Evans the Jr A league's leading scorer also had a big night for the Arrows Express as he had 3 goals & 9 assists
for 12 points which increased his overall points total to 104 for the year in 17 games played. Craig Point the third member
of the Arrows Express "Big 3" scorers had 4 goals & 2 assists as these three combined for 28 points on the night.
Other Arrows Express point getters were Jacob Kicknosway-Loucks with 1 goal & 3 assists, Kent Squire-Hill had 1 goal &
1 assist and single goals were added by Tyler Hill, Kyle Point, Lee Thomas and Mitch Nanticoke. Single assists went to Ben

The Arrows Express travelled to Akwesasne on Saturday night to take on
the Indians at the Turtledome. The game was played before a large crowd with
lots of Arrows fans in attendance and at the final buzzer the Arrows Express came
away with a hard fought 7 - 3 victory. The victory improves the Arrows Express record to 15 wins
and a tie on the season with two games remaining in the regular schedule.
Ben VanEvery played a strong game in net for the Arrows behind a very solid effort from the entire defense corps. Holden
Vyse played an excellent game and was singled out by coach Regy Thorpe for his solid effort after the game. The game
was tied 2 - 2 after the first period and the Arrows led 5 - 3 going into the third and then scored the final 2 goals of the game
for the 7 - 3 final.
Shawn Evans led the way offensively for the Arrows Express with 2 goals & 2 assists, Kent Squire-Hill had 2 goals
& 1 assist and single goals went to Craig Point, Kyle Point and Tyler Hill. Keegan Hill had 4 assists and single assists were
added by Ben VanEvery, Logan Kane, Jason Jones, Lee Thomas and Cody Jamieson.

The Six Nations Arrows Express took on the Jr A league's newest entry the
Akwesasne Indians at the ILA on Sunday afternoon. The final score was 13 - 9
for the Arrows Express and improved their record to a league best 14 wins and 1 tie.
The game was fast paced and the Arrows Express opened the scoring at the :10 second mark as Cody Jamieson scored
from the opening face-off won by Sid Smith. The Arrows continued their attack and led 4 - 1 after the 1st period. The teams
exchanged goals early in the 2nd period but then Akwesasne scored 4 consecutive goals to make the score 8 - 7 for the
Arrows going into the 3rd period.
Craig Point scored his fourth goal of the game at 3:23 of the third period and then added another late in game to finish the
afternoon with a 5 goal performance. Jeremy and Jerome Thompson who both played for the Arrows Express
last season before heading home this year to join the Indians each had 2 goals and 1 assist in a losing cause.
Arrows Express other points were scored by Cody Jamieson who had 3 goals & 3 assists, Shawn Evans had 2 goals & 4
assists, Mitch Nanticoke had 1 goal & 5 assists, Lee Thomas had 1 goal & 2 assists and Keegan Hill had 1 goal and 1 assist.

The Arrows Express are off until they pay a return visit to Akwesasne next Saturday evening (July 7) to take on the Indians

The Six Nations Arrows Express winning streak was stopped at 13 games
as they played the Lakers to a 9 - 9 overtime tie in Peterboro on Tuesday night.
The Arrows Express remain in 1st place with a record of 13 wins and a tie. Peterboro
was fired up with the return of Shawn Evans and played an inspired game for most of the night.
The Arrows led by a score of 3 - 0 after the 1st period but the Lakers fought back to even the score at 4 - 4 at the end of the
second period. The Arrows jumped out to an early. 6 - 4 lead in the 3rd period but once again the Lakers fought back as the
game was tied 7 - 7 at the end of regulation setting up a 10 minute overtime perod.
Shawn Evans scored 2 quick goals in overtime to give the Arrows a 9 - 7 lead. But then the Arrows took two penalties late
in OT set up the Lakers to score 2 powerplay goals in the final minute of overtime to make the final 9 - 9.
Arrows Express points were scored by Shawn Evans and Cody Jamieson with 3 goals & 2 assists apiece, Kent Squire-Hill
had 2 goals & 3 assists and Corbyn Tao added a single goal. Craig Point had 3 assists, Jacob Kicknosway-Loucks adeed 2

The Six Nations Arrows Express keep rolling along as they defeated the
Orangeville Northmen by a score of 8 - 3 at the ILA on Sunday night. The victory
extends the Arrows Express winning streak to 13 games as they are now 13 - 0 on the
season.
The Northmen who remain in 2nd place saw their record fall to 9 wins 2 losses and a tie with their only two defeats coming
at the hands of the Arrows Express. The game turned chippy once the score was out of reach as there were 2 fights in the
last minute after the Arrows Express had scored two empty net goals to pull ahead by 5 goals.
Ben VanEvery played another strong game and the defence played another overall solid game both 5 on 5 and when
shorthanded.
The Arrows Express travel to Peterboro to take on the Lakers on Tuesday night at 8:30 PM. This will the a homecoming for
the Arrows Express Shawn Evans as he led the Lakers to the Minto Cup last year before being obtained by the Arrows in the
off season.

The Arrows Express will try to extend their unbeaten streak to 12 games as they travel to Missisauge to take on the

The Six Nations Arrows Express led by a 10 point effort (3 goals & 7 assists) by Shawn Evans improved to 10 wins and 0
losses as they defeated the Titans in Ottawa by a score of 15 - 4 on Saturday night. Craig Point had 2 goals & 5 assists
and Cody Jamieson added 5 assists as these three combined for 49 points in the past two games.
The Arrows Express defense led by Sid Smith continues to play well and improve as the season goes on under the new
coaching tandum of Regy Thorpe and Marshall Abrams.
The Arrows Express also were joined in Ottawa by their latest acquisition Eryn Jones. He was obtained earlier in the day
from Akwesasne for a future draft pick and cash considerations.
Other Arrows Express points were scored by Mitch Nanticoke with 4 goals & 1 assist, Kent Squire-Hill had 2 goals, Tory

The Six Nations Arrows Express hit the halfway point of their 2007 regular schedule with a perfect 9 and 0 record as they
defeated the Burlington Chiefs by a score of 11 - 4 at the ILA on Friday night. The team boarded a bus immediately after the
game to travel to Ottawa where they take on the Titans at 7 PM on Saturday night.
The Arrows got off to a slow start against the Chiefs and actually trailed by a score of 1 - 0 after the first period. They got their
offense untracked in the 2nd period as they scored three goals in under 2 minutes on two separate occassions and led
7 - 3 going into the third period.
The usual suspects led the Arrows Express as Craig Point had 3 goals & 3 assists, Shawn Evans added 6 assists and
Cody Jamieson had 3 goals & 2 assists. Mitch Nanticoke also had 3 goals and Kent Squire-Hill and Lucas Miller had
a goal & an assist each. Keegan Hill had 2 assists and single assists were added by Ben VanEvery, Corbyn Tao, Sid Smith,
Jason Jones and Lee Thomas.

The Six Nations Arrows Express improved to 8 wins and 0 losses on the season with a 9-7 win over the visiting Brampton
Excelsiors at the ILA on Sunday night. Cody Jamieson led the Arrows Express attack with 4 goals and 3 assists until he left
the game with just 15 minutes remaining in the 3rd period.
Shawn Evans was slashed by the Brampton goalie at the 4:09 mark and the Arrows scored 16 seconds later to make the
score 9 - 4 and after the goal a line brawl erupted. When the dust settled each team had lost their starting goalie and 4
forwards to game misconducts. For the Arrows they lost starting goalie Ben VanEvery and their big 3 offensive players
Cody Jamieson, Shawn Evans and Craig Point along with Jacob Kicknosway-Loucks.
Brampton scored a short handed goal and 2 power play goals after the players were ejected to make the final score 9 - 7.
Other Arrows Express point getters besides Cody's 7 point game were Shawn Evans with 1 goal & 3 assists, Craig Point

The Six Nations Arrows Express traveled to Orangeville on Friday night for a first place showdown with the Northmen and
came away with a 10-5 victory. The win makes the Arrows Express the only unbeaten team in the Jr A loop with a record of
7 wins and 0 losses as they handed the Northmen their first loss of the year as their record falls to 5 wins 1 loss and 1 tie.
Ben VanEvery played a great game in goal for the Arrows. Ben held Orangeville scoreless in the opening minutes of the
game making key saves until the Arrows Express offense started to click. Once they got rolling the Arrows Express built
up a 5-1 lead by the end of the first period. They extended this to an 8-2 lead at the end of two periods and Orangeville
pulled their goalie late in the game and scored a couple goals to make the final score 10 - 5.

The Six Nations Arrows Express honoured their captain Sid Smith in a pre-game ceremony for being named Canada's Aboriginal
male athlete of the year for 2006 and then went out and soundly defeated Toronto Beaches by a score of 13 - 6 on Sunday
night at the ILA. With plenty of family and friends on hand Sid received the Tom Longboat award from Phyliss Winnie one of
Tom's relatives. He received a recogintion award from the Arrows Association and Curt Styres and also a plaque of his
accomplishments from his OCC team-mates. And finally the Arrows assistant captain's presented Sid's mother with a framed
and autographed program commemorating Sid Smith night.
With the victory the Six Nations Arrows Express record now stands at 6 wins and 0 losses on the season. The Arrows
Express travel to Orangeville for their next game on Friday June 7th with game time set for 8 PM.

The Six Nations Arrows Express improved their record to 5 wins and 0 losses on the season as they defeated the KW Braves
by a score of 6 - 3 in Waterloo on Friday night. Joe Johnson got his first ever Jr A start in goal and he turned in a solid game and
recorded the victory.
After building a 5 - 1 lead in the 1st period the Arrows Express scored the only goal of the 2nd period and then coasted to the 6 - 3
victory. This was definitely not the Arrows Express best effort and they will need to improve their play at both ends of the floor for their
next game on Sunday night.

score of 14 7 in Orillia on Sunday night. The game was never in doubt as the Arrows Express led 6 3 after the 1st and 10
4 at the end of the 2nd period.
Craig Point led the Arrows Express with a 5 goal performance and he also added 1 assist. Shawn Evans had 1 goal and 6
assists and Cody Jamieson scored another hat trick and added 3 assists as these three continue to lead the Arrows
Express offensively early in the season. Other Arrows Express point getters were Kent Squire-Hill with 1 goal & 2 assists,
Kyle Point had 1 goal & 1 assist and single goals were added by Chris Courtney, Mitch Nanticoke and Tory Gardner.

The Six Nations Arrows Express got their first real test of the season playing the St. Catherines As at the ILA on Friday night.
Cody Jamieson scored three consecutive goals in the 3rd period to lead the Arrows Express to a thrilling 7 6 come from
behind victory. The Arrows Express led 2 1 after the 1st period but the As out-scored the Arrows 4 2 in the 2nd period to
take a 5 4 lead into the 3rd period. The Athletics scored early in the 3rd to take a 6 4 lead before Cody scored the final three
goals of the game to steal the 7 6 victory.
The win leaves the Arrows Express with a record of 3 wins and 0 losses on the season. Their next game will be played on
the road on Sunday May 27th in Orillia. The game has been moved to the Orillia Community Centre on Patrick Street
instead of the MASK at Rama for those fans planning to follow the Arrows Express to Orillia with game time set for 7 PM.
Cody Jamieson added one assist to go along with his hat trick and other Arrows Express point getters were Kent Squire-Hill
with 1 goal & 4 assists, Shawn Evans had 2 goals & 1 assist and Tyler Hill added a single goal. Assists went to Ben

The Six Nations Jr. A Arrows Express continued their winning ways in the 2007 season with a 15 2 win over the Ottawa
Titans at the Iroquois Lacrosse Arena. The Arrows Express welcomed back some of their key players as they returned
having helped Onondaga Community College defend their National Championship. This game showed the Arrows strong
defence as they held Ottawa goal less until less than 2 mins. remaining in the game. The 1st period score was 5-0 for the
Arrows and the Arrows Express carried a 13 - 0 lead into the 3rd period until Ottawa would finally solve goaltender Ben
Vanevery for the 15 2 final score.
The Arrows welcomed back Cody Jamieson who had another strong game with 1 goal and 3 assists. Cody Jamieson as
well as Kent Squire-Hill, Lee Thomas, Logan Kane and Holden Vyse all helped Onondaga capture the National Junior College
Lacrosse Championship this past weekend with Jamieson being named the Tournament Offensive MVP.

The Six Nations Jr. A Arrows Express kicked off their 2007
season with an 11 3 win over the K/W Braves at the Iroquois
Lacrosse
Arena. The Arrows Express were missing some of their key returning players as
they are still away at school.
The game was never in doubt on this night as the score was
5 2 after the 1st period and the Arrows Express carried a 8 - 2
lead into the 3rd period after shutting out K/W in the middle frame.
The game was played at a fast pace with the newly acquired Shawn Evans leading the Arrows attack with 4 goals and
4 assists. Evans,the Minto Cup MVP from last year, was picked up over the winter from Peterborough in a trade and his
impact into the Arrows line-up was immediately felt.
Arrows Express point getters were Shawn Evans with 4 goals and 4 assists, Craig Point had 3 goals and 1 assists,
Emmett Printup had 2 goals, Jacob Kicknosway had 1 goal and 2 assists, Jason Jones had 1 goal and 1 assist. Keegan Hill
and Mitch Nanticoke picked up 3 assists apiece and single assists went to Tory Gardner and Corbyn Tao.
Arrows Express next home game is their traditional Bread & Cheese Day game on Mon. May 21nd at 2 PM against the
Ottawa Titans.
