
These awards were presented to the players at the Association’s award banquet that was held Friday September 24/04 at the Iroquois Arena with approximately 150 people in attendance. The Arrows Express announced that the High Scorer trophy (formerly known as the Arrows Trophy) has been renamed the Roger “Buck” Smith trophy. Also a new trophy for the “most dedicated player” has been added and will be known as the Judy “Punch” Garlow trophy.
The Six Nations Jr. “A” Arrows Express are very pleased to announce their individual award winner’s for the past season. The 2004 season saw the Arrows Express win the Ontario Jr. “A” championship that placed them in the Minto Cup tournament in BC. They were defeated in a semi-final sudden death game by the Victoria Shamrocks narrowly missing the chance to play the Burnaby Lakers for the Minto Cup. The following are the players deserving of recognition for their contribution to the team over the past season:

The players also honoured
the 2004 coaches Randy Chrysler,
Delby Powless and Jason
Johnson with appreciation awards for their time, effort and
dedicated leadership for the season. Curt Styres
was also recognized for his outstanding contribution to the team over the
year. Coach Chrysler who is also involved in coaching at the professional
level expressed his gratitude to Curt for the commitment that he made to the
Arrows Express that was above and beyond anything he has experienced even
in the pros.
